Water & Waterfalls, I love the ocean, and I love exploring for waterfalls. I am fortunate to live on the Tweed Coast and have the opportunity to visit all the waterfalls in the region.
Lamington National Park, behind the Gold Coast boasts some of the best water falls, and bushwalking in the area. Box Log Cicuit takes about 4-5 hours to walk and you can visit 4-5 waterfalls, Box Log Falls and the much photographed Elabana Falls. It gets a bit tricky climbing over rocks and under trees when its been raining, but thats when the waterfalls are the best.
Killen Falls at Tintenbar, just outside of Byron Bay is a popular destination for backpackers, there is always a flow of water as its part of the water supply for Ballina and Byron Bay.
